🌿 Herbal Protocol for Joint / Arthritis Support

Educational Wellness Support – Not Medical Treatment

1. Core Herbal Support

Rotate or pedal between formulas every few weeks to prevent stagnation and improve effectiveness.

Joint Tea or Joint Tincture

Choose one primary form depending on preference and constitution.

  • Joint Tea (daily)

    • A lovely blend of: nettles*, horsetail*, dandelion leaf*, peppermint devil's claw, celery seed*, turmeric*, ginger* & meadowsweet*. *Organic

    • Drink 1–3 cups daily, warm preferred, soak overnight and drink warm the next day.

  • Joint Tincture

    • Take 2–4 mL, 2–3x daily

    • frankincense, turmeric, willow bark, devil’s claw, celery seed & meadowsweet.

    • Best for those who want convenience or stronger extraction

Pedal between tea, tincture, or alternate with the TCM formula below.

TCM Formula: Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang

  • Excellent for chronic arthritis, especially with stiffness, cold, dampness, or weakness

  • Supports joints, circulation, liver & kidney systems

  • Take as prescribed (granules, decoction, or pills)

  • Use for 4–8 weeks, then reassess or rotate


2. Anti-Inflammatory Daily Tea or Supplement

Turmeric & Ginger Tea

  • Fresh or dried turmeric + ginger

  • Optional: black pepper for absorption

  • Drink 1–2 cups daily

OR

Turmeric/Ginger Supplement

  • Use standardized extracts if tea isn’t practical


3. Mineral-Rich & Rebuilding Herbs

  • Glucosamine & MSM

    • Glucosamine sulfate commonly 1,500 mg daily

    • MSM commonly 1,000–3,000 mg daily

    • May take 4–8 weeks for noticeable benefit

  • Vitamin D

    • Commonly 1,000–4,000 IU daily, individualized as needed

  • Magnesium (glycinate or malate preferred)

 Arthritis-Supportive Diet

Emphasize

  • Warm, cooked foods

  • Bone broths & mineral-rich soups

Reduce or Avoid
