100% Raw Cacao Bean, Theobroma cacao

Ceremonial cacao is a high-quality, minimally processed cacao valued for its rich flavor and traditional ceremonial uses. Our cacao is carefully sourced from suppliers who cultivate the cacao beans using organic farming practices, without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Peru is home to rare, traditional cacao varieties (like native Criollo and Chuncho strains) that many enthusiasts consider richer in flavour and phytonutrients compared with mass‑market cacao. These heirloom varieties are:

  • Cold‑processed or minimally processed, helping preserve nutrient and flavonoid content.

  • Ethically and sustainably sourced from small farmers using eco‑friendly agricultural methods.

Although the raw material is grown without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers, our company is not certified organic, and the finished product is therefore not sold as organic under EU regulations. Each batch is selected for quality, purity, and authenticity, then gently processed to preserve the cacao’s natural character and flavor.

Contraindications: Ceremonial cacao may not be suitable for individuals sensitive to caffeine or theobromine. People with heart conditions, hypertension, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding should consult a healthcare professional before use.

Suitable for use in herbal preparations, beverages, or ceremonial settings where high-quality, responsibly sourced botanicals are required.

Preparation: - If the cacao is in block form, cut it into small shavings to melt it better.
Then melt the cacao in water (spring water or high quality water) - 40g of cacao for about 150ml of water.
Do not bring the water to the boil, keep it at around 70°C
Stir the mixture in the pan to obtain a smooth, fluid substance.
You can add cayenne pepper, rose water, orange blossom water, cardamom, vanilla, cinnamon, etc. to flavour the cacao and add another energy.
If the cacao is too strong or bitter for you, you can add a little vegetable milk or a little honey, agave syrup, maple syrup, etc.
