Turmeric Powder (Curcuma longa) – Grown Without Synthetic Pesticides or Chemical Fertilisers
50g
Originating in India, turmeric has a long history of traditional use in Ayurveda and as a culinary spice. Our turmeric is grown in Northern India, where the hot, humid climate provides ideal conditions for cultivation.
Turmeric is obtained from the roots and rhizomes of the Curcuma longa. These are carefully harvested, dried, and finely milled to produce a vibrant golden-yellow powder with a warm, earthy and gently peppery flavour.
Our turmeric is sourced from growers who cultivate without the use of synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers. Although produced according to these practices, this product is not certified organic under EU regulations.
Suitable for use in cooking, beverages, and herbal preparations.
